Burning Nights CRPS Support now listed by NHS Choices UK.
As of today Burning Nights CRPS is now recognised by the NHS as a Specialist Organisation providing support to those suffering with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).
The NHS choices website provides external links to a selective number of charities that specialise in helping people affected by CRPS. Currently there are only 5 other charities that meet the strict criteria so as to allow them to be listed. These charities include the British Pain Society and Arthritis UK.
Despite only obtaining charity status in April of this year and our relatively small size compared to the other charities listed, Burning Nights CRPS Support is now listed as the only specialist CRPS charity providing support to those suffering from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

We not only offer support to those that suffer from this painful condition, along with their loved ones, friends and families, but are also now raising awareness of CRPS on an epic scale both nationally and internationally.
To be recognised by both The British Pain Society and the NHS within a short space of time is not only a fantastic achievement but a great accolade. I am sure you will agree that credit has to go to in the first instance to our founder Victoria Abbott-Fleming who has dedicated her life since her diagnoses to helping others with this terrible condition. Were it not for her, Burning Nights CRPS Support would not even exist.
I and the other Trustees, along with our army of administrators and volunteers continue to work very hard behind the scenes to raise the profile of Burning Nights CRPS Support by running regular support groups, exhibiting at conferences, delivering presentations to medical professionals and getting the message out to a wider audience via the media. Many of you will know that our founder’s story has been featured in a number of newspapers and magazines with readers from as far afield as Australia and the USA.
We are currently preparing for what is already looking to be a sell out Meet & Greet conference on 10th September at the Victoria and Albert Marriot Hotel in Manchester. The Conference is absolutely FREE to attend and if you haven’t got your tickets already and you wish to attend do get in touch before tickets sell out. Admission is by ticket only.
We truly are fast becoming a Charity with global reach thanks to your support. Please do remember that the Charity is run entirely by volunteers and we rely heavily on fund raising and donations in order to allow us to do the work we do. If you would like to support us in any way please do get in touch.
We look forward to seeing you all on the 10 September for the BURNING NIGHTS CRPS CONFERENCE and would like to thank you for your on going support!
